Any entrepreneur will tell you that startup life is not for the easily daunted.
Rejection, product failures, and isolation are just a few of the tests that many entrepreneurs are put through on a daily basis.
Add youth and inexperience to the list of things working against you—and you can see how a startup can seem like nothing but a harsh, uphill endeavor.
Luckily, entrepreneurs tend to be more optimistic than other workers, a factor that keeps them pitching to prospects and looking for ways to prove their value.
I’ve been reflecting on what has helped my partners and clients say “Yes” to the diversity consulting and training pitches I’ve put in front of them over the last five years.
Mind you, even if it’s not your age that presents a credibility issue, some other factor (industry experience, knowledge of a certain product type, geographic reach) may put you or your business in an ‘underdog’ position.
Here are my top strategies for proving your worth, regardless of your age, experience level or other factors you’re being judged on:

Building something takes a while.
So, I like to think of businesses as buildings that are under construction. Maybe you’re at the blueprint stage, or maybe you’re sweating it out laying brick, or maybe you’re already strong and steady and working on the finishes. Or maybe you’re doing a reno, or maybe you want to knock that sucker down so you can build something better.
If your business is under construction, think of the daily habits and practices in your life as the scaffolding around it — the steady, supportive platform that allows you to build what you want to build (or tear down what you want to tear down).
Milan Kundera (I’ve no idea who he is btw) once said:
Business has only two functions, marketing and innovation.
If you want to grow your business, you must work on your marketing. Fortunately, you don’t have to work all day on your marketing.
Marketing is like exercising, the difference between doing nothing and just a little every day is cumulatively enormous.

The world is full of wannabe entrepreneurs nowadays. Everyone and their uncle wants to become an entrepreneur, build multi-billion dollar businesses, and have more time to travel the world and enjoy life.
It’s everyone’s dream, and it’s a worthwhile dream if you ask me. I mean who doesn’t want to be their own boss, set their own working schedule, and have more free time to pursue their goals and dreams and enjoy life to the fullest without having to worry about money?
The only problem with these ”wannabe” entrepreneurs is that they only want the rewards that come with being a prosperous entrepreneur, they don’t want anything to do with what comes before that. They don’t want to hustle for 18 hours a day, they don’t want to sacrifice their social life to ensure a better future for their entrepreneurial journey.
In other words, they only want to get-rich-quick without the hard work that comes with it. As a result, the word ”entrepreneur” has somewhat started to lose its meaning.
With that said, If you’re prepared to do the real work while being relentlessly persistent instead of just dreaming about success; then you’ll have a good chance at being a real entrepreneur. As Nolan Bushnell once said ”the true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.”
Keep reading and you’ll learn the top 10 most crucial things you must do to become an unstoppable, prospering, and successful entrepreneur.
So here we go…https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/
1. Take more risks
One of the most common characteristics among successful entrepreneurs is–risk-taking. This characteristic is essential and crucial for the success of your entrepreneurial journey.
If you’re not taking risks and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone every day. Then you will struggle to become successful. In fact, most people are so afraid of taking risks and doing things where the outcome is never guaranteed.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, risk-taking will make you a better and more successful entrepreneur, it will make your life happier and more fulfilling. As the old saying goes ”high risk equals high rewards.”
2. Set unrealistic goals
Most people and even business coaches and consultants will tell you that you should set realistic goals and expectations. and to make matters worse, they will tell you that if your business goals are ”unrealistic”, then you’re setting yourself up for failure!
Surprisingly enough, that is totally untrue. Simply look at the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Evan Spiegel. Do you think they had ”realistic” goals and expectations when they first got started? I don’t think so.
As an entrepreneur, you should always remind yourself that nothing is impossible. If you’re going to dream, then you may as well dream big.
3. Get inspiration from other successful entrepreneurs
In today’s world, there is no shortage of successful entrepreneurs that you could get inspiration and motivation from. Chances are whatever business you’re trying to get yourself into, there are already other entrepreneurs who have been there before you. So why not learn from them?
By learning and getting inspiration from other successful entrepreneurs in your field you’ll not only inspire and motivate yourself, you’ll also learn a lot from their mistakes and decisions.
4. Follow your passion
I’m sure you have heard this a million times before, but it’s really vital to the success of your business ventures. It’s hard to become successful at something when you’re not passionate about it.
Although this is true, it’s totally possible to work on something you’re not really passionate about. But at least you will need to be interested in it for it to work. After all, you can’t bring a baseball player and ask him to sing. It just doesn’t make sense. The same thing goes for business.
It’s also important to realize that your passion(s) need to be profitable. There needs to be potential in it to achieve success. Your time, money, and energy is very valuable and need not to be spent on the wrong things.
5. Be innovative and creative
Creativity and innovation are among the most valuable traits of successful and prosperous entrepreneurs. In fact, The role of an entrepreneur is to bring value to the marketplace, and if possible–to impact and change the world.
This is why the entrepreneur needs to be innovative and creative when shaping their product developments and business strategy. Without innovation and creativity, the entrepreneur will be lost in a sea of mediocrity and commonness. Innovation needs to go hand-in-hand with entrepreneurship.
The mind of a successful entrepreneur requires to be always in search for brilliant, innovative, and out-of-the-box ideas to ensure the success of their business(s).
6. Build a team
Building a team of creative and talented individuals is one of the most important requirements for scaling and growing your business. Although lately, there has been an emerging type of entrepreneurs who prefer to work alone, commonly know as–solopreneurs.
Generally speaking, you can find success in entrepreneurship working just by yourself. However, if you really want to take your business to the next level; you can’t do it by yourself. You will need a strong team of talented individuals to back you up and help you scale your business(s).
In addition to that, you can expect your business to grow much faster when having a team in place. After all, sometimes you have no option. Because you can’t deal with everything yourself. Sales, marketing, customer service, and a lot of other business specialties can be dealt with by hiring a team to take care of it, while you work on what’s more important – changing the world.
7. Promote yourself on social media
We live in the social prosperity era, social media sites have made it easier to advertise your business, build brand awareness, as well as for promoting yourself.
Social media marketing is not only effective for getting your name out there, it’s also an effective way to reaching your potential customers and achieving a higher ROI (return-on-investment) on your efforts. Not to mention the business relationship opportunities you get to make while doing so.
8. Focus on building strong connections
Same with everything else, in today’s world of information and technology; It’s not about what you know anymore, it’s about who you know.
Information is everywhere, it’s flooding the internet. With a click of a button or a trip to Google, you can almost always find what you’re looking for fast and on-demand. Anyone can do it.
This is why nowadays, who do you know can make or break your success as an entrepreneur. The more influential people you know, and the better your relationships with them. The more your chances of success will be.
9. Wake-up early
I know, I know. You’re probably thinking ”Is waking up early have as much of an effect on becoming a successful entrepreneur?” The short answer is: absolutely.
In today’s world of constant activity, it seems a lot of people are starting to adopt the life of a night-owl. However, that actually has a negative impact on your health, productivity, business, and life.
In Mason Currey’s book–Daily Rituals: How Artists Work, where his documenting the daily habits of the history’s most successful artists, inventors, mathematicians, and entrepreneurs. You will notice that most (if not) all of the characters included in the book usually waking up in the early morning (5-6 am).
There are many benefits to rising-up early: more energy, higher productivity, improved health, plus the fact that you have a lot of time ahead of you on the day makes you feel happier.
There is just no better way to start your day than by waking-up early. And Ben Franklin couldn’t agree more ”Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”
10. Execute more, learn less
There is a lot of emphasis within the entrepreneurial community on innovative and out-of-this-world ”ideas”, which is great by the way. However, ideas alone are not what makes you a successful entrepreneur. It’s execution that brings you all the great that comes with being an entrepreneur.
Ideas are nothing, execution is everything when it comes to business and entrepreneurship. If you’re spending most of your time brainstorming for new ideas without actually trying to execute those ideas, then it’s just an empty circle of failure and wishful thinking.
As an entrepreneur, action is everything. You should be spending less time learning and reading books and actually going out there to execute those ideas. Because that’s where the real growth is at, and that’s what determines your success as an entrepreneur.
Chasing the entrepreneurial dream is one of the most rewarding careers in the world. Entrepreneurs are the driving force behind the success and development of our economy. They’re the ones who create jobs for other people, the true entrepreneur is an investor, self-employed and a person who challenges the traditional ways of doing things.
If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, then there is no better time to start and work on yourself than now. Utilize the above strategies to take your entrepreneurial journey to the next level.
So which of the above things you believe are the most crucial to the success of an entrepreneur?
It’s almost impossible to survive as a small business in the modern world without some kind of online marketing strategy, even if that’s just a website and a basic social media presence.
Assuming you could build up enough foot traffic and reputation in the physical world, you’ll still have to deal with competitors who offer everything you do, plus the online visibility component.
Here’s the video:
UPDATE: It seems not only Instagram and Massplanner who have been forced to close their service, but also other lesser-known bot sites.
Not so long ago, one of the most popular social media bot services— has been forced to discontinue their service at the request of Instagram.
A lot of people suffered from this move, especially social media marketers who utilize these kinds of automation services to save time and hack the growth of their Instagram accounts.
At the time, everyone went on the lookout for a reliable Instagram bot alternative. One of the most popular alternatives and arguably the best social media automation software on the Internet was the number choice for many social media marketers.
MassPlanner allows users to automate their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Google+ and Tumblr accounts for 24/7. (More than any other social media bot service!)
But not anymore, MassPlanner has been shut down at the request of Instagram today (May 13, 2017)!
This is what you will see when you go to their website:
Due to Instagram cracking down on two of the most popular social media bots on the Internet in less than one month—the future of Instagram automation bots is unclear. It will not be a surprise anymore If Instagram decided to crack down on other social media bot services. In fact, many social media experts suspect this to be the case in the near future.
These types of social media bot services provide marketers and businesses with the ability to automate and grow their social media accounts for 24/7 while performing the below functionalities:
- Following/Unfollowing users
- Liking posts
- Scheduling posts
- Commenting on posts
- Sending direct messages
- Blacklist/whitelist users
- Targeting users by hashtags, location, etc
- Running mutiple accounts
Not to mention the time that you get to save while using these bots. However, it seems Instagram doesn’t necessarily agree with that…
It’s important to realize that these bot services (Instagress & MassPlanner) we’re very popular, established, and reliable among social media marketers—Yet, Instagram managed to shut them down; which means that other bot services will not be risk-free anymore and they’re probably praying to not be next.
Not only bot services who are worried about these brutal ”shutdowns” by Instagram, social media marketers are also worried about what to do next. (It seems that alternatives may also not last for long, and are not immune to Instagram’s legal strikes).
The only remaining options for Instagram marketers to grow their accounts and promote their business are no more than:
- Growing their accounts organically
- Paying for ads
Unfortunately, both options seems to cost a lot of time and money. Bot services we’re much more effective, reliable, and faster than the above two options. But it looks like they’re not going to be an option any longer.
The only thing left to say at this current events is… ”Who’s next?”
Why are you failing to turn all that traffic that you’re paying so much for to get into sales?
A lot of online marketers FAIL to figure out how to convert leads into buyers.
This is where a lot of marketers get stuck.
Their mind keeps going back to the same thing:
We need more traffic!
If we need to increase sales, we think of it as a traffic problem.
But a lack of traffic is rarely the problem.

Trust is one of the most important elements in marketing.
Trust can’t be established quickly or through gimmicks. Companies that have lost consumer trust — you know the ones — know this all too well.
Before customers make a purchase from you, they need to be able to trust you.
They need to trust that your messages are accurate, that what you’re selling matches up to what you say it is and that if anything goes wrong with the transaction, you’ll support them.
How do we get more followers on Instagram? It’s a question that social media marketers always ask themselves. After all, the more followers you have, the more users you can convert into becoming buyers. If you’re struggling with your Instagram marketing, here are some creative ideas to get more Instagram followers:
Be More Strategic with Your Instagram Comments
Many social media marketers know that ‘follow, like, comment’ system works — but it’s somewhat tedious and time-consuming. Instead of merely following, liking, and leaving a generic comment on other users’ posts, what you should do is this: list 10 to 20 users that has a similar audience as you, then visit these accounts and leave positive, interesting comments on their most recent posts. The idea is that other people who’d comment on the same post will get curious about you because of what you said. So, they’ll visit your account, and once you got them hooked with your stunning feed, they’d likely hit that follow button.
Share Engaging Videos
Videos — especially the pleasant ones — generate a lot of user engagement. With a new algorithm, Instagram now prioritises posts with higher engagement. If your post gets many likes and comments the shortly after posting, this signals Instagram that your post is engaging and quality. Then, Instagram will move your post to the top of the follower feeds, where more users will see it. Again, the more your post is exposed on Instagram, the higher your chance of getting a new follower.
Run an Instagram Contest
Most people like winning prizes. Capitalise on this by running a contest on your Instagram account. For sure, many will be interested and hit the follow button just to get updated with your promo mechanics.
Instagram is an ideal platform to promote your brand. However, with a lot of other business marketing on Instagram, too, you need to be more creative in attracting your new followers.
